A REAL LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT AT THE ORIGIN OF THE PROJECT
It was in the Jura that François Deprez, our founder, discovered the fascinating
world of precious stones. A passion that would never leave him, as he later
decided to study coloured stones at the Gemmological Institute of America
(GIA).
His encounters sharpened his vision and made him discover the multiple facets of
this field. At the same time, one of the jewellers in his home town became his
mentor and passed on his knowledge and passion for coloured stones.
In April 2022, our team opens the doors of Nascendi, the first colourful and
committed House of Stones & Jewellery!

COMMITTING TO A RESPONSIBLE SUPPLY CHAIN
In the coloured stone supply chain, there are (very) many intermediaries. The result? An opaque process, a limited traceability and an uneven distribution of value.
As a trader, we have the power to act to offer a more ethical alternative in environmental and social terms.
We are in the process of obtaining RJC (Responsible Jewerlery Concil) certification, which attests to our responsible sourcing policy. We are also working with the Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM) to develop independent artisanal mining cooperatives to create a more sustainable sourcing model.
